Lesley is wholeheartedly convinced the care and support a woman receives through her birth journey directly impacts how she experiences this transformative and life changing accomplishment.
LET'S CONNECTWhat began with attending her sister’s labor and birth 6 years ago quickly turned into assisting many women’s births in her close-knit community over the years. This led to the realization that there is nothing she’d rather do than continue to provide personal care and support as a doula to women through their pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Lesley is wholeheartedly convinced the care and support a woman receives through her birth journey directly impacts how she experiences this transformative and life changing accomplishment. Her motivation is for every woman she assists to feel affirmed and confident through this incredible season by providing a calm and assuring presence, knowledgable guidance, while working within and advocating for your birth plan and preferences.
Lesley believes birth is nothing short of a miracle as a new life enters the world. As a dedicated doula, she is truly honored to support families offering compassionate care, guidance, and an unwavering presence. Every birth is as unique as the person giving birth, which makes personal and intuitive care all the more important. Her goal is to create a safe and supportive environment tailored to your unique birth experience.
Lesley has completed her doula training at Bastyr.
The journey doesn’t end at birth. The postpartum period is a time of adjustment, healing, and discovery. As a postpartum doula her goal is to help ensure the weeks beyond labor and delivery are joy-filled, and restorative, strives to alleviate any potential overwhelm or uncertainty, as you navigate feeding, sleep, emotional recovery, and the shifting rhythms of new parenthood. Lesley endeavors to ensure that you feel nurtured and empowered every step of the way. She believes that the care that is received in the weeks and months that come after a baby is born is just as important as during labor and delivery, and the adjustment a husband and siblings are experiencing is also worthy of support.
When not assisting a birth you can find her spending time with her husband and 3 kids, coaching fitness, hiking in the mountains, baking and hosting.
