Brie Torres

Postpartum Doula

My goal is to provide evidence based support and education during the postpartum period in order to make this transition an easy one.

LET'S CONNECT

I truly didn't realize how passionate I would become about babies and birth work until after my first pregnancy. Coming home from the hospital and realizing how much help and support I truly needed, but unfortunately did not receive, fueled a desire in me to create a path where no one had to feel alone and without support during their postpartum period.  Those passions and desires, along with a lifelong love of helping people, making connections, and empowering women, led me on a search. It was one of my closest friends who introduced me to the doula role. My heart is to educate, advocate, and support people as they enter into the journey of parenthood and make sure they know that they are not alone.

I completed my Postpartum Doula training at Bastyr University and will continue pursuing education and certifications for other facets of this role. My goal is to provide evidence based support and education during the postpartum period in order to make this transition an easy one.

I have three beautiful children, 2 boys and a girl. I enjoy cooking with them, watching them play sports, and exploring the outdoors as a family.
