What is a postpartum doula? Why would anyone need one? Since my recent transition from neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) RN to postpartum doula, I get asked these questions a lot. Stay-At-Home Dad Workout (with toddler & baby)

    Hannah Rutan is the newest doula to join the Expecting Joy team.  As a graduate from Robert’s Wesleyan College in upstate New York, she has, most recently, been working as an Registered Nurse at Eastside Family Health Center in Kirkland.  During her early education, Hannah supported a few births and instantly knew that her passions were in this line of work. What is a doula?
